Got our kitten 5 weeks ago, had him for 2 weeks before we realised he had fleas.
Got stuff from vet that went on his neck, meant to kill fleas.
Sprayed house with indorex, washed everything, hoovered daily.
Have been nit combing the cat, and still finding a flea alive & well every couple of days, either on him or his bedding.

Deep cleaned house & sprayed everything again at weekend and still I have found a flea on him.

Wtf am I going to do, I am struggling to cope with it, it seems to have triggered some anxiety in me, I feel like my whole body is crawling.
Can anyone advise me what else to do, I'm really struggling.

I used frontline for ages and we got fleas. I changed to advantage and got in someone who sprayed all the house professionally for £50.it sounds a lot but it worked and the amount I was spending on off the shelf spray probably ended up costing more in the long run

Vet uk have advantage

We used diomataceous earth (Google it) around the house, where the cat sleeps etc, with Advantage. It's surprisingly effective and non toxic.

Worth a try, and not too £££ at all. Fleas are the worst.

Is advocate the same as advantage? Thats what I have used on both my flea ridden cats, frontline did nothing when they were infected.

advocate seems to sort it out.

I've ordered advantage, anyone know what's the soonest I can give it? I found another 2 fleas in the bathroom last night. No sign of any on the cat though.Hoovered & sprayed with indorex again, gah!
