Picking up 6 month old ginger tom tomorrow, still undecided on a name!

I quite like Paddington after Paddington Bear (as in Marmalade)
Copper
Ronnie (Ron Weasley)
Winston/Winnie (the Pooh)

Any suggestions welcome :) doesn't have to be related to orange/ginger! Had 3 ginger cats in the past, Whiskey, Pebbles and Wilma

Boris. Definitely Boris.

TheGonnagle · 29/06/2014 20:10

My ginger tom is calles Greebo after Granny Weatherwax's extremely cantankerous hard-as-nails ginger tom. Unfortunately mine does not live up to his namesake and is a soft as shite pudding who's scared of flies. I love him even more for his cowardliness though Grin

Monkeyandanimal · 29/06/2014 20:10

Gin-Gin. It's what my 2 year old calls our local ginger moggie.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 29/06/2014 20:11

My cat is called Mr Fish.
I like Bear though.

SixImpossible · 29/06/2014 20:11

Roger. As in Ginger... who couldn't love a cat called Roger?

cozietoesie · 29/06/2014 20:16

You can't beat the sort of name that a Victorian head gardener would have had - so names like Albert, Henry, Edward.......

BigPawsBrown · 29/06/2014 20:17

My orange tom is called Benjamin Bear

purplepingu · 29/06/2014 20:18

I've got a ginger Jasper. Suits him!

me55monster · 29/06/2014 20:18

Marmaduke

landoflostcontent · 29/06/2014 20:19

William? (William of Orange) I know you said it didn't have to be anything to do with orange/ginger but it would make a very dignified name for a ginger tom

Snapespeare · 29/06/2014 20:19

Pond (amy - i know she is a girl)
Lord Pumpkin (14 yo DS suggestion)

VSeth · 29/06/2014 20:22

Marmalade.

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 29/06/2014 20:25

I had a ginger cat once whose name was Benson

VSeth · 29/06/2014 20:25

Lovesabadboy · 30/06/2014 23:22

If I ever get a ginger cat then he would have to be called 'Weasley'.

I hope you have had a good first day with Paddington today.Smile
