my baby cat came and sat on me on the sofa for the first time ever.
She sleeps on the bed with us but when we are sitting on the sofa she usually sits on a free chair. But now she has just curled up on my legs. I really want to go to bed, but I can't now can I?

Not unless you carry her to bed yourself.

But I've been wanting her to sit with me on the sofa since we got her 6 months ago, and now she has I'm going to get up and walk away. I could take her to bed with me. I usually do

I'm jealous - Harry has been with us 6 years and has never sat on either of our laps. I'd be upset if he sat on DH and not me though!

That has been the only time though. She is currently sprawled on the rug.

What a lovely unusual colour she is!

She is a very odd colour isn't she. We got her in January and she was black then. But as the sun has come out she has gone brown.
