How exciting, has he arrived yet?
I met my new kitty today. Had no intention of getting a cat at the moment but my friend fosters and asked me to come and meet her. She was all over me like a rash and it was game over as soon as I met her. I'm taking her home tomorrow. Ds doesn't know but has been asking for a cat for a couple of years, so excited and finding it so hard not to say anything but think the look on his face will be worth it Smile.

Agreed, he is indeed gorgeous.

I'm surprised how confident he is, not a bit timid with the dc

He looks like a right little bouncer. (And that wonderful short kitten tail.)

Scarletohello · 25/06/2014 14:15

What a cutie!

valrhona · 25/06/2014 15:01

His little nose is so cute :)

chockbic · 25/06/2014 15:03

Bless. Look at his little face

Has he been up to mischief yet?

stripeyred · 27/06/2014 00:24

Up until tonight he's been great. He climbed over the box we had on the stairs to stop him getting up there tonight though and we can't find him any where Confused
Been a few hours since we've seen him and food isn't tempting him out, don't know what else to try

Our two new kittens disappeared upstairs and hid behind the hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard for 2 whole days. We could hear them rustling about and put food and water out for them by the door but never caught them eating it. They sauntered out as if nothing had happened and picked up where they left off.

I'm sure he'll come out when he's ready.

cozietoesie · 27/06/2014 09:42

The places they find are extraordinary. He'll come out when he 's ready but if you're anxious, check laundry cupboards, wardrobes - anywhere dark and warm in fact. (I trust none of the upstairs windows were open on the assumption that he couldn't get up there?)

stripeyred · 27/06/2014 11:14

He was waiting on his breakfast this morning when I got up. No idea where he slept but he's enjoying exploring the new rooms just now

When Seniorboy first came to this house, he spent a few weeks in hiding. (He was very bonded to my Mom.) We never did work out exactly where he was (it's a big old place) and the only way we knew he was still alive was because his tray was being used and food eaten - in the depths of the night.

Since he decided to bond with me instead, he's slept in my bed, where he is at this moment, having eaten his lunch: not quite snoring but I think it's not far off. They're blighters.

stripeyred · 30/06/2014 16:55

His definitely my cat. As soon as the dc are away to bed he comes out to play and have a cuddle. Can't believe how well he has settled in with us

He looks just as if he was lining up to take a snooker shot in that picture! What was he after?
