My cat is weird

I've had cats my whole life and this one is definitely strange. (In a good way)

I just woke up with a sore throat (posting while sucking lozenge). Adam is lying on his side, stretched out, between me and dh with his stomach exposed. He never sleeps in a curled up little protective ball but rather lies like a dog- stretched out and comfortable!

Actually, he really is just a dog! He also loves children and has a wonderful way of letting them cuddle/grope/play with him then just getting up and walking a way when they get too rough. No biting or scratching although an older child being deliberately rough will get a fake bite!

He's such a sweetie.

I recall seeing my Firstcat being (almost literally) pulled in half by two much younger brothers who both wanted to play with him. (One brother had the back legs and the other brother had the front legs.) All Firstcat did was yowl a bit although he could doubtless have escaped their clutches with ease - and had claws and teeth to use if he'd wanted to. They often seem to know when they're dealing with young children and adapt their behaviour accordingly. Smile

I think we'll need a photo of Adam?
