furniture scratching

Does anyone have any good methods to stop cats usng furniture as scratching posts? They have plenty of actual scratching posts but seem to prefer beds, sofas, anything we don't want them scratch basically!

lemon juice with water in a spray bottle and spray all the furniture you dont want them to scratch worked for my lot because cats dont like citrus

Double sided sticky tape stops them, try spraying catnip on your scratching posts too.
