Do you put sun cream on your cat's ears?

Is this a thing?

My cat has pale giant ears and my vet suggested I put sun cream on in the summer-Now I have guilt.

Our cat is black, so no.

But we do put it on 3/6 of our guinea pigs!

Sorted.

I have had to put suncream on a horse though. Generally they are less likely to claw you though.
