Why does my cat roll on the floors when I've mopped them wiht bleachy water or hang out round the toilet when I've squirted some round?

because the ammonia in bleach smells like cats wee to your cat so he thinks hes rolling in a big litter tray

So the ammonia smells like another cat as urinated there so by rolling on the floor your cat is using the various scent glands in his body to mark this area as his territory. If this fails he will resort to urinating himself. I would suggest stopping using bleach on your floors before he reaches this stage otherwise you will end up with quite literally a pissing contest you clean floor with bleach cat pisses on it to mark territory, you clean floor with bleach cat pisses more round and round in circle. This aside from the fact that bleach can damage paws and if the cat licks it off their paws can ulcerate their mouths and guts.
