My cat attacking neighbours cat :(

Hi, does anyone have any tips on how to help our cats get along better (or at least tolerate eachother)? My neighbours have a young cat that they've recently started letting out and every time my cat sees her in the back garden he chases her and swipes at her. Not in a playful way either :( When I catch him doing this I bring him straight in as I feel bad for the girl cat as she's still a baby really, about 6 months old. Mine is 2 years old.

I just worry about my cat hurting her when I'm not at home to keep an eye on them.

May take a bit of patience, but if you're prepared to, keep an eye out for her and take a food bribe outside. Feed it to both of them (especially the aggressor) whenever you see her, and hopefully he will associate her with something pleasant.

Thank you, that's a good idea, I'll try it.
