We have two cats and one went missing a week ago, so pleased that he wandered back in last night Grin.

However other cat is really pissed off. How long before they settle back in? They keep taking swipes at each other instigated by other cat, missing cat seems to just want food and sleep.

He probably smells odd & it's causing fights. They'll settle again.

Thanks. Smile

We're having a celebration dinner, the cats are having tuna. Hopefully that'll put them in fine fettle.

We have 2 girls who got on great, both 4 years old and house cats. A year ago one got out overnight, returned the next day and now they can't be together, I really think they would kill each other if left together. We have tried everything, keeping them together, separating them, gradually reintroducing them to each, Feliway spray and diffuser and many other suggestion the internet or vet has suggested. I really hope you have a better outcome. Sorry not very encouraging.

They seem to have calmed. Missing cat smooshed his face into his dinner (like the pics attached), he was a right mess. Other cat also got tuna, they ate from the same bowl then groomed themselves together.

There has been no screeching, hissing or biting since the tuna.

How are they this morning? Back to normal?

WolfAndMud · 25/05/2014 16:46

Seems that way. I can't stop smiling, so glad he's home safe.
Thanks for your help. Smile

(But keep an eye on him now he's got the taste of the open road in his nostrils - and maybe think about insurance if you don't have it.)
