Xander my 10 week old monster has just limped into the front room from the kitchen. I don't what he's done. He isn't wanting to put any weight on it. Is this a rush to vets job or could he of just pulled something and just needs to rest it?

I could tell from that very first picture you posted. There was something about his gaze..........

LittleDonkeyKong · 13/05/2014 23:14

I have just put some meat down and he is eating with gusto

Good stuff.

LittleDonkeyKong · 13/05/2014 23:26

I hope he's strutting around like a peacock in the morning!

Keep us in the loop

LittleDonkeyKong · 14/05/2014 07:49

He seems a lot better on it this morning! It isn't completely right but he is more like his normal self and just this second him and Izzy were pelting around the front room!

Why not give the vet a phone to reassure yourself. (How is it not 'completely right' ?)

LittleDonkeyKong · 14/05/2014 08:47

He isnt putting alll his weight on it but is walking rather than hopping. He is playing with toys and his sister using both front legs whereas yesterday he wouldn't use the right one at all. He has been running around. He isn't holding it up when he's sat down like he was yesterday Smile

Yep. Why not give the vet a phone to check - you could book him in this afternoon/evening at the same time? He's going to be with you a long time after all so you don't need to be worrying about this for the next 15-20 years.

LittleDonkeyKong · 14/05/2014 09:26

He's booked in at 4.20pm

Let us know how he gets on? Little blighter!

LittleDonkeyKong · 14/05/2014 17:14

Been to the vets. She seems to think its a soft tissue injury, cant feel anything out of place or broken thank god. He has 5 days worth of painkillers. I'm sure the little sod was walking properly on her table!

Well that's great news - and don't you feel easier for having taken him?

(They usually walk etc fine for the vet. I reckon he's got your number as well!)

cozietoesie · 14/05/2014 17:22

PS - if ever I saw a case for getting insurance, Xander is going to be one, I think.
