Cat repellers and indoor cats

Just wondered if anyone could give me any advice please.
We have a lot of cats in our neighbourhood that have taken to using our garden as a toilet.

In the grand scheme of things it's not a major problem but it is irritating and a unpleasant job clearing it all up.

I adore cats but would like to keep them out of my garden. I have heard good reviews about sonic cat repellers. My question is: would one of these bother my two cats which are indoor cats?
Thanks

I don't know how you could ever know for sure.
I've heard of people using lion or tiger poo. I know Grin why that would be better than your neighbours' cats' poo I don't know.

Thanks for your reply Patchouli. I did read about lion/tiger poo but the phrase 'out of the frying pan and into the fire' sprung to mind.

Guess I will just have to try one of the repellers and see. They are only set off by motion so hopefully will be ok.....it's that or spend the rest of my life poo shovelling.
