My neutered male cat has another nasty tunnel wound on his side. He is back in his surgical collar and we have put on some hibi scrub and gel that the vet gave us.
Is there anything we can do to help him? He is fighting with a neighbourhood cat and coming off much worse. We had hoped it was territorial and would settle down but we have been in our new house for 7 months now and this is the 4th nasty tunnel wound as well as scratches and what looks like fur being pulled out. I'm just so upset seeing him in pain and miserable with the collar on.
He has a sister who never gets into fights.
