So this afternoon I'm sitting in the car on the way to the movies with DH when something wriggles against my bum. What? No, that must have been my imagination. A minute later: Aarrgghhhh... it's happened again!
Backup to yesterday, when my jeans were lying on a low table in our bedroom with the legs trailing on the ground. (Yes I'm a slob.) I noticed our intrepid hunter ginger female kitty sniffing around the jeans and when I moved them, saw she had brought in a small lizard. I thought it was dead and left it there to dispose of later. She then pulled my jeans to the ground. When I looked for the lizard later I couldn't find it and assumed it had escaped.
You know where this is going, don't you? DH had to park the car in the furthest darkest corner of the shopping centre's parking garage so that I could strip off my jeans and shake the lizard out of my back pocket.
Cats... got to love them.
