Advertising a local business

Hi, I'm new to the site and wondered if there was an opportunity to use part of this website for free advertising? I run two small businesses, one established for 7 years, so ok with promotion there but the other I've just started up and would like to get my name out there as much as possible with little outlay. Any comments appreciated!

sneaky advertising via the boards doesn't go down wellSmile

How can my request be 'sneaky' when I am posting so everyone can see? Merely asking if there was an area to advertise that I didnt yet know about being new to the site! Had already worked out the website suggested for myself!

You can list your business for free on your mumsnet local site.

If you want an actual advert you'd have to pay for it.

Iirc, it only costs £30 for an advert.

Many thanks lottiegarbanzo and sunbathe!
