Can I move the litter tray?

Or will he get confused???

My cat has his litter tray in the kitchen by the bin. It was put there initially as we were going to keep him in the kitchen at night but that never worked out and now he has the run of the house!

Anyway I would rather he had the tray in the bathroom than the kitchen but if I move it now, after nearly 4 years of it being in the kitchen is he going to get confused and wee in the kitchen? He is out during the day so only uses it at night.

we've just moved ours and both the older cat and the kitten had no trouble remembering where they are now.

move it and show him - should be ok.

It will be fine. Clean it, then let him use it a couple of times, then show him where it is. He will recognise the box and the scent and realise that is where he needs to go.

Great, thanks, I will give it a try.

We had to move our litter tray all over the place recently whilst getting work done in the house. Kitten was amazing at adapting to her constantly moving tray - I'm sure he'll be fine!

I move mine about quite a bit. Cat is adaptable and finds it no prob :)
