Puss has finally figured out enclosed cat bed!

I bought one of these which, whilst utterly naff, looked very snuggly --wasn't prepared to pay £60 for one of the posh ones]].

DCat has a little basket in the kitchen next to the radiator but is a beggar for enclosed spaces. It took her a good week to work out how to enjoy it but now I come home to contented snoring or kneeding with bum waving out the end from this, housed in the living room. LR is less warm than the kitchen but she prefers to sleep up there. I am wondering about getting a couple more and putting them in her favourite places (top of the wardrobe in the hallway in our tiny flat, and another in the kitchen where her basket is when she's confined to quarters when one of us is working from home or she's peed somewhere inappropriate.

I am very pleased I've made her happy - anyone else have enclosed beds for cats?

We have a cat kennel in the garden with a couple of pods similar to that inside. When it's warm they sit on top & squash them down; when it's cold they burrow inside & pop them back out to shape again. In the house hey have open beds.

I have 3 cats & 3 cat beds (not as enclosed as that)

Occasionally 1 cat (not always the same one) will sleep in 1 cat bed (not always the same one)

Otherwise it might be a chair, top of the cat tree, a pile of newspapers or a cardboard box if there's one around (there often is)

They are contrary buggers

They are contrary for sure! Mine also have a felted mat each in the breakfast room. One sits on hers quite often. The other carefully sits right next to hers & won't actually get on it at all
