Someone/Something has hurt my Cat

My Pfb Cat has just come in for the night & he has some kind of sore on his right side , its the size of a 2p & all the fur has completely gone in that area .
its a circle shape and only the fur on the sore has gone
It could be a burn mark as its to perfect a shape to be from fighting not that he fights as he is the softest cat ever .
I have cleaned it and put some
Savlon on as their were little specks of blood though no scabs etc

I'm torn between Anger & worried sick as what if somebody has burnt him & if not what could it be ?

It could be a burst abscess, they tend to go in a perfectly round shape.

Could it be an abscess that has burst? COuld get that from a nick or a bite.

Has he got long fur, could a patch have got caught on/in something and pulled out?

If it was an abscess I would of seen it earlier as I were brushing him & would all the fur of gone with an abscess ?

It definitely sounds like a burst abscess. You shouldn't be putting Savlon on though. Some human ointments can be bad for cats. Try to get rid of it. You may not have noticed it as it was covered in fur. When they burst the hair goes. That's exactly how they present.

He'll probably need antibiotics, but it can wait till Monday.

In fact I've just googled. Savlon is toxic if licked. Get rid of it now.

I have wiped the Savlon off , I'll take him to the vets Monday & see what they say

He has been his usual self now .

The Vet said it looked to be s burn but fortunately it hasn't caused any damage apart from taking that bit of fuf off .

I honestly don't have a clue , its to small to be an exhaust pipe more a car Lighter iyswim
