I am in the process of adopting a kitten from the RSPCA.
She was 9 weeks' old last Friday. She has had diahorrea for over a week and the vet had prescribed meds to help. The vet has seen her again today (they come round every Wed) and says that she still has it. If it doesn't clear up by the weekend then they will do a fecal test.
I visit her about twice a week and she seems alert and playful but I'm starting to panic that there is something really wrong with her. She is old enough to have had her first vaccination but I don't think that she has been given it yet. She is still with her mum and siblings.
Could it just be worms or something worse?
We have all fallen in love with her. She's a very special ginger girl with four white socks and the most beautiful eyes and I would be devastated if she was really very poorly.
I know that the centre are doing a great job of looking after her but I feel a bit helpless.
