cat weeing in strange places

In her water bowl, daughters potty,just outside her litter box.

She's been acting strange by weeing in water bowl since before the bad weather. Brought a litter box in and she started using it. Several accidents near it so took her doctor who gave her some tablets that are anti inflammatory and a bit anti anxiety too.

We are trying to get a wee sample. She now won't use box.

Came down this morning to wee in potty. Couldn't be 100% sure of wasn't daughters so couldn't use that as sample.

Any advice? I'm thinking maybe the flash cleaner not sufficient to get rid of smell.

Months ago another cat got in too which may be part of problem?

Is she neutered, crashbang ? And she's a going-outside cat? How old is she and is she in good health otherwise?

Ask the vet to check for a UTI - the only time our cat randomly wee'd in the house she had one.

She is neuteured and 4yrs old. Overweight and goes outside.

Maybe have a word with your vet directly? She should certainly be checked out for physical issues and as Lifesagame said, a UTI is a good bet - so if you're completely unable to collect the sample, they may have to have her in and take one/do a complete physical exam by other means.

What has your vet actually said about her problems?

Just realised I used doctor in OP not vet!

Vet did could be behavioural or could be uti.

We have tablets 2 times a day that are anti anxiety/anti flammotory. Won't give anti biotics til wee sample done.

Just wondering if I need to do a through clean in case a cat has been in marking. If so what with?

I'd give the vet a phone this morning, say that you're making no progress with the pee sample and seek their further advice.

Is it possible that another cat could be getting in? Do you have a cat flap for example that's not locked or microchip-reading?
