We got our PFC (precious first cat) about 2 months ago. Most mornings I get up around 6 to 7 to give her breakfast. Much later than that and she is jumping on our heads politely asking us to get up.
However, will this change as the days get longer? Will she get up at dawn every day?
If we ignore her she does calm down, and I don't mind getting up, but I will do if it starts being about 4 am.
I can't leave food out for her as she eats everything!

4am sounds about right for a summer breakfast. We lock ours in a seperate room overnight & feed him at around 7am.

You could try an auto feeder. Not this one though, they can break into it

So true
