Sad I'm so sorry to hear this. Of course you're not being daft. It's so lovely that you have that memory of her.

You're not being daft at all and I'm so sorry.

How are your SIL and all the kids doing?

Lilicat1013 · 24/02/2014 13:21

I am sorry for you loss and for your SIL's loss. It is not daft to be upset.

JerseySpud · 24/02/2014 13:44

My sil is ok. Luckily the woman who hit her stopped and also the kitty died instantly from a head wound.

I do have happy memories of her. The cat was beautiful and the daftest kitty ever.

It's not daft at all. I think it's perfectly natural to grieve for the loss of a pet, even if it's not yours. I'm so sorry, for you and your SIL. I sobbed and sobbed when my friend's cat was run over - she was the litter-sister to one of my boys and it it hit me so hard.

Not daft at all, our pets are members of our families and it's completely natural to grieve for them. Flowers
