Savannah cats - does anyone have one?

Never heard of these before but saw a picture while googling today, they are beautiful!

Not likely we would ever get one as always have rescue pets but just wondered what they are like?

The breed society might have a re-homing section actually, so it may not be as unattainable as you'd imagine. Active breeds don't suit everyone so I can imagine some get re-homed.

There's one on youtube too.

I'd imagine the breeds like a bengal but bigger.

The couple I've met are worse then bengals. Very active and hunty.

Would they fit through a normal cat flap though? Or do they just break the door down?

How big they are would depend on how many serval genes they have. An F1 (50% serval, 50% domestic) would be much bigger than, say, an F5 (3% serval), but all are classed as savannahs.
