Help. Moved house. Cleaned carpets & Bengal cat is spraying everywhere

Aaaagh - the smell is awful. I've had the carpet professionally cleaned in our new place. My cat Camilla didn't like it and sprayed all over the carpet.
I bought some enzyme spray sprayed if all over and then she sprayed again.
I got a new settee and she sprayed in front of it.
Can't bear the smell. This didn't happen in our old house.
I can't breathe it's so horrid. How do I get rid of it?

Love my cat but I also love my children and don't want them breathing this in.

How long have you been in the house? I've got a highly strung bengal & it wasn't pleasant when we moved.

Keeping his tray spotless & adding another upstairs tray helped a lot.

A couple of weeks now. She also Pooed on my lovely satin bedspread and on a very nice rug.
Two items down the drain as smell is vile.
She's a lovely little cat but quite highly strung. She does go outside and I don't like having litter trays in the house with small kids.

Very tricky. Any advice?

shes probably spraying because to her the house does not smell like her home, though you wouldnt have noticed it to her the old house would have had a subtle smell of her, that only she would have been able to detect and by scrubbing everything you are wiping out her smell again , so in her head she has to mark everything again, is she neutered as its unusual for female cats to spray and if they do it dosent pong so badly, coyuld you confine her to one room for a couple of days to settle into the new house and maybe try feliway plug ins or spray to try to calm her down

I think a tray could at least be tried? We had litter trays when I was small & I survived.

White vinegar gets rid of the smell, but you'll need to pull up the carpet and do the underlay as well, otherwise you've no hope of getting rid of it.

I would also agree with Fluffy that a litter tray is a must.

Have you plugged in Feliway in every room? I know it sound a bit OTT but when we had issues with our Bengal it did the trick for a while. I really feel for you, but hopefully she will settle down in her own time. They can be quite highly strung can't they?

She's probably smelling another cat in your new house.
Did the previous owners have a cat?

Maybe keep her as much as possible in one room for the moment until she 'gets' the new smells?
Feliway is great and there are other calming supplements and drugs from the vets.

Use her old rugs and blankets from your old house to cover up the sofas, and she may identify them as hers, and not spray them anymore.

Carpet cleaners can have ammonia in them, so maybe she's responding to the strange (to her nose) 'cat wee' smell all over your new house now.
Keep her in one or two rooms, until the smell of the carpets has died down a bit.
Leave all the windows open for the smell to dissipate.

You may need a litter tray or two inside till she's calmed down.
There may be a big cat outside bullying her also?
