I'm sorry if it arrived home tonight in a state of some distress!
My DH called out a cat was trapped on the trampoline. It has netting round it so kids can't fall off. It was only partly zipped up (despite me reminding everyone in the house on numerous occasions!)
The poor thing was running laps. Clearly upset and almost trying to climb the netting. I raced out. Held the door right open and called it. The cat was rightly suspicious of the weird crooning woman. I managed to coax it out.
THEN my bloody 18 year old girl who is generally about as aggressive as a twig decided to kick off. She chased it. The ginger cat tried to climb the fence but she pulled it off. Poor bloody thing escaped unhurt but I felt so sorry for it.
Oh and I haven't seen the cat until recently so I think you may be a new neighbour. Welcome to the neighbourhood!
