Cats and tin foil

I just wanted to check on this - is anyone else's cat terrified of tin foil? The minute it comes out of the drawer and starts crinkling, she's off. Is she getting senile or is this normal? Thanks!

Yes! It proved very useful in discouraging one of our girls from getting up on our kitchen side...

Sorry, I meant, yes it is normal.

Mine are afraid of it when it's flat, but they love playing with rolled up balls of the stuff - bizarre!
