Flea advice

So, the beasts have fleas. Again. We use Frontline Combi but a) I think we missed a few doses here and there so broke the protective cycle and b) I have read a lot online about fleas being resistant to Frontline these days. Anyway, we've put the Frontline on the cats (because we already had it and it's not cheap) and I have nuked the house with multiple cans of Indorex and am almost done with washing all bedding, throws etc but we only have a washer dryer so it's taking a while to get through it all. I have banned the cats from the bedrooms. They are very cross but hey ho. They are sleeping on the sofa and since Indorexing I have been noticing lots of flea eggs on the sofa which I am diligently hoovering. Am I right in assuming that these are dead flea eggs because the Indorex will have killed them? I am determined to expunge every little hopping bugger but I fear it's going to be a mammoth task. Will this be enough or should I be doing more? I have more Indorex... trigger happy

Can you see flea eggs? Wow, my eyes must be bad.
Nothing kills the eggs that would be safe for you to have in the house.
Indorex will kill newly hatched larvae hopefully.
Leave the Indorex to settle for a few days, up to a week even, before you vacuum on it.

Are you seeing the small black flea dirts? These will be falling off the cats as they groom themselves on the sofa.
If you are not seeing live fleas you are on top of the problem.

Yep, lots of flea dirt but also lots of teeny tiny white eggs. The sofa is charcoal grey so easy to see. I haven't seen a live flea since I sprayed on Mon evening. There was a dead one in DH's lemonade on Tues and a flea trap under the bed since Tues night has yielded one flea so far. I am yet to Indorex the car though. I have seen fleas in the DCs hair in the car, shudder. I hate fleas.

Oh and I had a good pick through the fur of the black and white cat til he bit me last night and couldn't see any signs of life and they are usually dead easy to find in his white bits (which he has a lot of). Fingers crossed...
