Time to reposition the tray or get one with a cover, methinks.

OMG one of mine keeps doing that too - missing the trey, despite being in it. I haven't quite figured out which one it is yet as it doesn't happen very often but I can think of around 3 times it has.

He doesn't even when he does hit the tray, he poos then wanders off. We have a pooing over the edge incident every week or so. We definitely need a covered tray.

He's not the brightest cat ever!
