Dear Mum

It is cold so whilst you watch movies with the small human underneath blankets I want to curl up on your lap, but you are crocheting. I try to close my eyes and not see the wool, but ohhhhh it looks so fun - please can I play with it. Each time I extend a paw you give a firm word, please can I play with it.

lol my two fosters are fascinated at the moment by two strips of car window wiper that my grandson threaded through the top of my coffee table so that they hang down under the table, something so simple has provided hours of hunting skills

That sounds like me and ThistleCat - she also waits until she thinks I'm not looking and steals something - usually a ball of wool, but earlier she took my hook.
