Have just got back from the hospital after having it confirmed that I have had a miscarriage. Sad times, but am staying positive and looking to the future.

My kitten, who usually sleeps somewhere in peace in the day, has not left me alone since I came in. Purring at me, kissing me, sitting on me and generally being very affectionate. Do you think they are that in tune with their owners? Certainly brought a smile to my face!

So sorry, umaiaisha.

And yes - they can be very attuned to their people indeed.

Thank Cozie.

She is my first ever cat and love her more than ever today!

yes I'm sure they can tell.

I think a few people on here have had experiences of cats detecting pregnancy.

So sorry to hear of your loss.

In my experience, They definetly tune into both sadness and illness and offer love and comfort. Tis a wonderful blessing x
