Anyone changed an outdoor cat to indoor?

We will be moving house soon (hopefully) but the village we are looking at is mainly set around a main road. I have 2 cats. 1 could probably take or leave being outdoors, the other loves it. Both use a litter tray if we are away for the weekend (we keep them in if we're away as cat 2 has tendency to wander).
Has anyone ever moved house and kept their cat indoors?

Yes my cats are indoor cats. We had a spate of accidents so vet suggested they became indoor cats. They never even ask to go out now. Its lovely never having to worry about them. They are fine plus I have 2 dogs so always something going on to keep them occupied

both my cats were outdoor/stray cats when i adopted them. they are now indoor cats by choice because they are lazy and spoilt. Once you have scratchers and toys to keep them entertained, they will be fine.

We moved two months ago and I tried to use the opportunity to turn all 3 into indoor cats so I didn't replicate the same issue with the neighbours complaining. Two are happy enough inside with a quick dash into the garden and back in again but the male cat goes loopy if he isn't allowed out for an hour at night.
I'd say it was possible but it depends on the cat.

Thanks all, was expecting everyone to say not possible!
