I can't find my previous thread.

Dd2 is 10, she's been asking for a cat or a dog since she could talk - she's animal daft! After her looking after a (now deceased) hamster and guinea pigs well, we agreed on a kitten (no dogs here - dh was bitten as a child and ds had a shoulder vein ripped by a dog when he was 2 - we're very lucky that plastic surgery for scarring was the worst he had to endure!).

I came on here a few weeks back to ask about having a rescue cat with a house-rabbit. After that we had a visit from the SSPCA to assess the house/rabbit situation and last week we got a kitten who had been fostered in a house with a rabbit.

So a week later Ronald the ginger kitten and Speedy MacReadie the rabbit are curled up together on the rug in the sun!

Oh how lovely. I used to have a house rabbit too. I think it's terrible that people shut them away in hutches.

I'd love to see a photo of them curled up together.

I'll take a pic when possible. Right now they're chasing each other up and down the stairs!
