My Cat has just had kittens , she had the first at 6pm .
I'm just wondering how long I should give her after the first til the last ?
I have left her alone for now as she was eating the after birth

She was pregnant when I got her & yes I will be getting her neutered

It's one heck of a compliment, actually.

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/11/2013 12:36

Blimey, they are big kittens. She's going to be knackered feeding them.

cozietoesie · 23/11/2013 13:03

Have you got any boys among the three?

Oodyouthinkyouare · 23/11/2013 14:26

I didn't think you could tell yet Blush

I'll have a check in a bit Smile

Why'd you ask ?

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 23/11/2013 14:33

Idle curiosity. I'm guessing a boy and two girls.

Smile
Oodyouthinkyouare · 23/11/2013 16:30

Awwww.... mum's a fluffy cat isn't she without being true long hair? We have one like that, gorgeous.

DidntBadWolfDragOn · 23/11/2013 17:31

Aw..... :) I want to see more of the black/tabby one. In those photos he looks like my huge tabby. His back is black, his underbelly is ginger and the tabby stripes a tabby mix.

Oodyouthinkyouare · 23/11/2013 18:33

By the looks of it they are all boys and covered in fleas

Yes she is semi long hair , her brother is proper long hair with a skunk tail Grin

Yeah the tabby one has a black back then black & tabby stripes

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/11/2013 18:34

Fleas? You need to get something from the vets ASAP. Fleas are dangerous to kittens.

Oodyouthinkyouare · 23/11/2013 18:39

Oh crap .

I never new that , I know my cats are or were last fortnight flea free

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 23/11/2013 18:44

Yep, vets tomorrow. You'll need to treat the house with indorex spray too & hot wash everything washable plus Hoover everywhere .

No relaxing Sunday for you Sad

Oodyouthinkyouare · 23/11/2013 19:06

I won't be able to get to the vets until Monday , what will the vets give me ?

Don't know, but I know it's important.

They've not got much blood in them, to be losing it to fleas plus the risk of infection from all the little wounds is worse for them than an adult.

Lone would know what to give, she's a vet.

Oodyouthinkyouare · 23/11/2013 19:58

Ok thanks

Pets at home vets open a Sunday, it saved me loads when our cat got into a massive fight on a Sunday morning.

I still think about the £60 it cost me though Angry

Oodyouthinkyouare · 23/11/2013 20:15

The nearest PAH to me is 15 miles away & I have no transport Sad

Also need to find a blinking cat box as mine went walkies

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/11/2013 20:18

Oh bugger.

I wish lone was here. All the vets seem to go to the doghouse section.

I think you can bath them, if nothing else it concentrates them to the head and you can pick them off, they are difficult to squash, I press them on a hard surface with my nail, that seems to do it.

Can you treat the adults?
