New fosters

After more than six months cat-less months I have foster cats again . They are a mum and son, she's about three years old and he's five months. She was a stray and was caught with her four kittens (the other three are being fostered elsewhere) They are both shy, especially the little boy, and need some socialisation, but they are already coming along really well (been with me for a week).

awww both absolutely beautiful do you know if they are hearing or not as sometimes deafness runs in white cats genes, just means they have to be indoor cats

No worries there, they are both very responsive to sound. They still freak out a bit if someone knocks on my door (getting better though). And I'm teaching them to come to a whistle with the aid of bribery :) AFAIK it's just white cats with blue eyes that are prone to deafness (those with the dominant-white gene).

thats good to hear makes rehoming them easier for the rescue which rescue do you foster for

This one, issey Streetkatz Rescue. These two are my first for them, was previously doing long-term fostering of cats with health problems for a different rescue but they have gone quiet on me. I think they may be winding down their operation - a shame if so but I can't be sure as they've just stopped answering my emails! I did say in my last email to them that if they had no cats in need of foster care did they mind if I approached another rescue. As I didn't get a reply I took that as a 'no'!

Absolutely gorgeous! You can definitely see the resemblance between the pair in the photo of them together.
