So Norman has been on cage rest for 3 weeks (today) which is what we were told to do. Do we just let him out and hope it goes well? or stagger it?
We let him into the room he has been caged in last night. Old lady cat hissed a little bit but stayed on a foot stool watching his every move. N spent 30 mins looking around the room, checking it all out. We were all a bit
when he found OLC tail dangling from the footstool but no fur flew as we distracted him. He is very kitten like so am expecting him to be all over the place exploring
We have decided to end the caging after the weekend as half of us are away overnight on Sat and the other half are working - so don't want to just let him loose with no supervision. Not sure of the best way to go about it though. Let him out and give him the run of house? Or try and keep him to one room? That will be quite tricky as we are fairly open plan. Should we put him back in the cage overnight for a few more days/weeks?
Any ideas welcome, been waiting patiently for this day and now am getting more worried that we will lose him in the house somewhere or he will damage himself - we don't know if he has ever lived in a house before and he has been cooped up for 7 weeks now, expecting lots of energy and some fun hopefully
