A really cute thing Didokitty did...

This morning I was siting up in bed having a coffee and Didokitty decided she would like to snuggle inside my dressing gown with me. She shover her way in and then got very cosy by wriggling down the sleeve (with my arm in it) and sticking her head out of the cuff! We stayed like that for about 15 mins, just having a cuddle!

Specially nice as I couldn't find her last night (She'd managed to get from back garden to front for the first time ) and she had to go to the vet this morning for post-op sign off (all fine). She certainly has a big personality for a small furry thing!

Speaking of which, on the way to the vet she was quite agitated and meowed a lot in the car, but as soon as we had finished and were on the way home, she was as calm as anything. How did she know??

Cute! Glad she's on the mend too. Winter-girl has ventured to the front garden from the back too. But still won't leave it. She is quite happy to just potter about close to home.

Winter-boy on the other hand - well I have no idea how far he ventures.

That is Very Cute Indeed. My cats have been snuggling with me by turn since I got up: they take their Zebra-snuggling responsibilities very seriously Smile

Have you always taken Didokitty straight home from the vet in the past? If so, she may believe that That Is What Happens & thus relaxed because to her mind there's no possibility you'd be going anywhere BUT home. She will have picked up on the fact that you were more relaxed after the appointment, too: they're really sensitive to stuff we're not even aware we're communicating to them.

Very cute Grin

They are such creatures of comfort aren't they! I'm also amazed as a first time cat owner at how sensitive they are to changes in situation/emotions etc.

Seniorboy is the same with the vet now. They have extremely good memories - in fact he calms down completely as soon as he's allowed to go back into his carrier in the vet's surgery. (Knows that that means he's on the way back to his home.)

This is the third time Didokitty has been to the vet - check up, spaying ans now post op check up. Perhaps she does remember "back in the carrier" means hometime. I think cats are probably much brainier than I give them credit for - they are certainly emotionally tuned in to us. One cat I had alwasy knew I was pregnant before ever I did. I never had to POAS!!

Cats are very VERY clever: impressive problem-solving skills, too...

How cute.

Mine has shared my dressing gown, but doesn't go further than my boobs.
