My bath has been a torture chamber

When I came to bed tonight the tail less wonder seemed very pleased with herself.
My bath was covered in blood and a mouse tail was abandoned in there. She leapt in the bath re-enacted the brave mouse fight and then ate the tail.
I am so looking forward to cleaning the bath tomorrow.

At least baths are easy to clean.

you gotta love 'em!

Most thoughtful of her, Lone. She could have despatched it in your bed!

Well the benefits of the bath that I gather from the re-enactment is that the victim is trapped so you can sit back and watch it for a while.

Figures. No compassion for prey, cats.

This sort of thing is part of the reason I am actually quite glad my cats decided they are indoor cats. Stuffing is much easier to clean up than entrails...

Hope the mouse didn't suffer as much as you fear. And as cozie said, at least it wasn't your bed that was the site of the brutality.

Just realised your cat has created a literal bloodbath. This is what the shocking overuse of the word "literally" leads to, clearly!
