Cat being sick

Our lovely cat has been sick 5 or 6 times over the last couple of days. We didn't give him any food yesterday just water.

He was last sick yesterday evening, watery but with pin pricks of blood in it. He seems brighter this morning and back to his usual self. My DM is staying with us and says I should now give him scrambled eggs as it is bland

I am thinking best to try him with a small amount of his usual cat food?

It is a bank holiday weekend. With that in mind I would suggest a trip to the vets this morning. 5 pr 6 days vomiting in a a row is 2 to 3 too many particularly with blood.

THnaks Lonecat, I had been thinking about the vets but it has been 5 x over the last day or so not over the last 5-6 days, would have been at the vets well before now if it had gone on that long. Also not a bank holiday here but thanks for your reply.
