New kitten and going out!

Probably silly question but we are going to cat rescue centre tomorrow (Sat)to hopefully get one or maybe two kittens. We had planned to take them home straight away but we are going to be out all day Sunday so should we wait till Monday to take them home?

It might stop you feeling anxious - but just how long are you to be away for? Will Tuesday be any better given work etc?

Going to be out from 10 till about 8. I'm a teacher so off for two more weeks. Do you think they would be ok by themselves?

It wouldn't worry me unduly - although I'd likely restrict them to one room which had been checked for accident potential and contained all their needs.

Thanks cozietoesie, I will tell them at rescue centre as well

Good idea. Taking them on Monday would certainly mean that they would remain in a place they knew and would be supervised. While I wouldn't worry normally, you do run the risk of them not having settled by the morning you leave and getting up to hi-jinks in your absence. Leaving them for that extra day or two would relieve your mind on that score.
