The cat did a rather soft looking and very smelly poo yesterday and has been letteing some very nasty gassy niffs loose! Any thoughts from the cat doctors, please?

Has she/he been eating kitekat?

My two did over the last week and they had the same thing. I'd never fed them it before but the pouches were 2 for £5 so my dad got us some to help out.

They're back on Whiskas now and much happier and Little Chubby II hasn't farted since Monday.

you could try not feeding her tomorrow and then giving her plain fish or boiled chicken for a couple of days and if it dosent improve then maybe a visit to the vets to rule out an infection

My kitten has been the same off and on over last few weeks - her wind is atrocious Shock. We're currently in the process of changing her food as vet thinks Felix and whiskas might be the culprit!

Other than that, could your cat have eaten anything to cause it?

Italiangreyhound · 17/08/2013 00:40

He seems better now, no more wind. He is on Felix and Sainsburies kitten wet food, Iams fry food and Tesco crunchies. He is a very fussy boy and does not like loads of things.

Thanks for your help.

Is he on the gravy food? That makes me dread the litter tray even more than usual.

Plain chicken is definitely the way to go.
