Stray cat found and brought into us today - heavily pregnant. Through our investigations with the microchip she had a litter in April. When the owner finally turned up her response is 'yeah, it's my boy cat who does it' - well get him neutered now 'I might'.
The most frustrating thing of all is that we have just ended a joint scheme with CPL where owners only had to pay £5 per cat regardless of whether they were male or female to get them neutered.
On -call so can't have aWine to help.

She's not going to learn so stitch a winning and persuasive smile to your face. However angry you might be. (And I'd be plenty angry if I had to pick up the pieces like you and other board members have to.)

Bloody hell. Poor little girl! Of all the things you accept paying for when you own cats, surely neutering is one of the basics?

sadly you are not going to make someone like her who dosent give a toss into a caring owner and people like her is why the rescues are drowning in kittens poor mommy cat i bet you wish she hadnt been chipped and found her owner, she would have been better off not finding this person again

It's extraordinary GetStuffezd how lackadaisical people are about it - and also how many people seem to think 'Oh it wouldn't be fair on her not to let her have at least one lot of kittens'.
