John should be getting them on Sunday or Monday, The mother and four kittens.

The mother is gorgeous, she has unusual markings/colouring.

It's nice looking at them and knowing that every one of them (plus Mum) will already have umpty people queuing up to give them a great home.

Penelope keeps attempting a 'half fiddle' to wash her bum and falling flat on her back. I shouldn't laugh because she is trying.

Oh I've read it now. That's just so sad. She's a cutie as well.

She was a little singleton that had been found by herself and was being hand reared apart from Hazel's litter. She had a play date with Hazel's lot and was going to be reintroduced when they went into the big room - for socialization and fun.

The kittens have been let loose in the big room. They're so bold!

I love how Sylvester was first out, followed closely by Penny.

Hazel has had a bad case of the zoomies this afternoon!

Sylvester rocketed out. I grinned a lot watching them.

Those kittens are so lively that Mom's taking to the heights (or escaping) in response. I don't blame her.

I was given an early birthday pressie by my dh yesterday - and it was a chicken fish!

I've been a bit obsessed about it since seeing it on the critter room.

You lucky person, deelia. CF appears to be the toy of choice for all the litters.

It's a replica chickenfish because dh said he found the company that made them, phoned their hq in Germany and was told that they no longer make it.

A crafty lady put a free template on the Internet of how to make one, he emailed her and she made one for him! She has an etsy shop that is mostly full of knitted meerkats.

When I got it in the post the lady had written 'hail chicken fish!' on a card.

No rug though as Hazel is still having tummy trouble. a Sample is being tested to see what's wrong.

Deelia that might be one of the nicest add most thoughtful birthday presents ever! How lovely.

And the little move from the lady, it's like Chickenfish is almost a cult or something!

I still can't get the proportions of those kittens and the Mum, I see them as being massive but I know they're not. I think it's because the camera is so low.

Rehoming centres here should maybe think about putting cameras in the little enclosures, it might increase the number of people looking to adopt

Mom is actually a pretty small cat, Something, (she was very young when she gave birth) so that skews the proportions.
