Reactions to this heat...

Just wondering if anybody elses's cats are having an adverse reaction to this heat?
All 3 of mine have become moody and started to attack each other, which is very unlike them. Normally they curl up together and are the best of friends. It all started a few days ago when this heat began.
They have 4 bowls or water and I make sure that they are always full. Wet and dry food for hydration and preference. I've been trying to keep the house cool by shutting curtains and blinds and having a breeze and fans running but not sure what else I can do. They are indoor cats so no option to play outside.
I'm just wondering really if it is the heat or something behavioural that will require a trip to the vet?
Sorry for rambling - this heat is getting to me!!

My old boy is not quite so loving as usual and by rights he should be enjoying it. Nights are the worst - so sticky and still.

I'd wait and see what things are like when the weather breaks

My five seem to have lost their appetites & have taken to all sleeping on the stairs constantly .
I give mine fresh water every 2 hours & stick some ice in it

Good idea about the ice Hamster. They are normally all so lovely, hopefully they'll improve when the weather cools down.

I think mime would happily sit in the fridge if they could as they are all long haired Smile
