Stanley has now been vaccinated but I forgot to ask the vet a few questions.

Regarding flea treatments which ones would you recommend? I used Frontline on my old cat but are there better ones for a younger cat? And I had terrible trouble getting old cat to take worming tablets - even crushed to a powder in his dinner, he would neatly munch round it somehow avoiding the tablet itself. A vet once plonked one down his throat, massaging it on the way down. Old cat looked outraged.

I know he's about 12/13 weeks Frizzbonce but I forget - did you get him from a rescue? (They might have given him some treatments there - almost certainly wormed him I would have thought.)

Stronghold is what I've recently had from the vet for my kitten.

It comes in kitten strength and adult(also put my older cat on this) so that they were in sync with their flea treatments.

It was a lot dearer than frontline though, but new kitten had fleas and big cat is very fluffy and I was taking no chances.

Cozie - no I got him from a friend of a friend who was living in a tiny flat with two small dogs, and Stan - the last of the litter. So I doubt if he was wormed. Isee - thanks for the tip. Smile
