Tramadol and cats

Hi, our old lady has been prescribed 10mg tramadol twice a day for arthritis. With the use of a pill pusher the two of us finally managed to get one down her throat this morning (I know, useless owners, should be able to do it one handed from a 5 yard distance). I am aware that cats can get hallucinations with these tablets. She's been OK during the day but hasn't eaten much at all and has now spent a couple of hours sitting upright on the stairs with her pupils dilated. She doesn't seem distressed. Her evenings are always spent on the sofa or curled up in her bed. Anyone got any experience of this?
