Don't know if you remember but in March I reunited my lovely neighbour with her cat that had been killed on the dual carriageway? All v traumatic and upsetting and she is still very upset.

Her beautiful long haired cat has now been missing all night. The female cat that never goes anywhere, never leaves the garden, doesn't miss a meal. Sad

I can't bear the thought that she may have lost another.....

Oh Lordy. Fingers crossed.

Sad

At least she has you to help her Sparkling - shoulder some of the practicalities of looking, posters, phoning etc.

Sparklingbrook · 03/06/2013 11:18

Yes, I have been out and checked all round the neighbourhood and no sign. Neighbour is distraught.

Early days yet, but this behaviour is unheard of for the cat in question.

The poor boy cat who is still missing his 'sister' from March isn't himself yet either.

This was why my Mom moved to house cats with Seniorboy- she just couldn't take the emotional battering each time one of the previous boys was RTA'd (which they all were.)

Sad

But yes - it's early days. Was the cat in question chipped?

Sparklingbrook · 03/06/2013 11:26

Oh yes, all chipped and collar with full details on. Very distinctive long hair ginger and white too.

Hoping she's just shut in somewhere.

As I said - fingers crossed.

Sparklingbrook · 03/06/2013 11:30

Yep. Positive vibes and hopefully good news soon.

Neighbour has just texted. Cat wandered back in ten minutes ago. Filthy dirty and starving. Phew. I could cry.

Phew! Thanks for letting us know, Sparkling.

Sparklingbrook · 03/06/2013 20:52

The relief is just the best thing when they come back isn't it? Neighbour will sleep soundly tonight.

Yes - she must have been so very worried.

Bet she wants to ground her though!

Sparklingbrook · 03/06/2013 21:07

Oh yes, she will have grounded her and be cuddling her to death. Grin
