Fucking annoying cat

She is desperate to sit on me, but then she digs her fucking claws in me, which hurts and ruins my clothes. She has been know to hiss and bite if I dare move. She is the most anxious creature in the world.

I'm sure you love her really :)

My boobs are covered in claw marks because Rice likes to sit on my and knead them - I think I'd need an anti-stab vest to stop her claws getting through. I've been cutting a claw at a time today whenever I get a chance - 6 down only 14 to go.

My first cat was like this but worse. No hissing just biting to kill me. I think she loved and hated me equally, was easily offended and suffered separation anxiety.
Got a second cat which she hated initially, but hasn't bitten since. She gets jealous of the other but is generally happier more placid cat.

When she sits on me she likes to digher claws in just to test that im still paying her full attention.

Solutions = wear thick jumpers, shove him/her off when it gets too much, buy a pack of soft paws/claws, have someone else in the the house for them to sit on.

That's interesting delia I had thought of another cat but was worried it would make her worse.

I think she digs her claws in to make her feel more secure, she doesn't get that it results in her getting chucked off my lap. She hides from the kids all day and will only sit on me, unless I'm away then she'll settle for DH.

My cats ruin my clothes, too. I have about 5 pairs of black leggings and all of them have tiny puncture holes in them because of my cats . You could always try having a small towel by the sofa/wherever you sit that you can put on your lap if she wants to jump up, so's to save your clothes. As for being nervous, try giving her treats when she's on your lap. Even if she wont take them at first, in the end she will. It will teach her that being on your knee = treats and she should be kinder to you then :)

I think cats just favour good ventilation and therefore like to aerate them through punching holes. My curtains, sofa, duvet and important letters get this treatment.

Kitten cat has given our thick thermal lined dining room curtains the lace effect by running up them on numerous occasions.

He's quite partial to licking my nose then biting it, ouch!
