For all those of you who have been having trouble with an outside cat who won't use earth to poo, the cat who has, in the recent past, been using my flagstones has noticed the flowerbeds which I dug over twice last week - and now I have plants lying around which I'll have to go and re-dig in. 
Any troubles, therefore, get the fork out and get digging.
