We have decided to get a Maine Coon and are going to view some kittens this weekend. Has anyone here kept Maine Coons? Any advice would be great!

They are simply terrific. I had two, rescues. Madeline was only with us two years. I wish she could have lived to a grand old age. Phoenix did live until 18. She was loud. She would get on top of the refrigerator and then leap down to the island where I was having lunch. Both were beautiful.

I know someone with two coons and an Alsatian.

The Alsatian knows his place!
