Cat-in-a-basket

One of my cats is on the sofa with me, but not sitting on my lap, or just curled up on a cushion or anything normal like that. He is neatly tucked into a toy moses basket, complete with little pillow. It's the second night he's put himself in the basket while I read to DD, and happily allowed himself to be carried downstairs and put on the sofa.

He looks like a little feline picnic.

It reminds them of a box.

Cats are stupid.

It may well be his dream box, it's just his size and moulds to his shape. This is a cat who weighs 5kg and recently tried to squeeze himself into a very small toy suitcase.

He is stupid. Cute though.

Very cute - both of them.

Whoops, used the wrong symbols, that was supposed to be in italics!

The best thing is that eventually his body heat seeps through the bottom of the basket and he makes a lovely little hot water bottle.

He's just turned round and huffed though. I think he knows I'm typing about him.
